Sampling Observability for Heat Equations with Memory

摘要: In this talk, we introduce a sampling observability for the heat equations with memory in the lower-order term, where the observation is conducted at a finite number of time instants and on a small open subset at each time instant. We present a two-sided sampling observability inequality and give a sharp sufficient condition to ensure the aforementioned inequality. We also provide a method to select the time instants and then to design the observation regions, based on a given memory kernel, such that the above-mentioned inequality holds for these time instants and observation regions. This is a joint work with L. Ma and Y. Zhang.
报告人简介: 汪更生,天津大学应用数学中心教授,新世纪百千万人才国家级人选,受邀在2026年ICM做邀请报告。一直从事偏微分方程的控制理论的研究。现任美国工业与应用数学会旗下刊物《SIAM J. Control and Optimization》和欧洲工业与应用数学会旗下刊物《ESAIM: Control, Optimization and Calculus of Variations》编委。 在偏微分方程的能控能观性、能稳性和时间最优控制方向做出了重要贡献和国际领先结果,特别是热方程的插值不等式、Schrödinger 方程的时间两点型能观性不等式、时间最优控制的bang-bang性和周期发展系统的反馈能稳性等。在Springer与Birkhauser出版两本学术专著,发表论文80余篇。其中包括欧洲数学会旗下刊物J.Eur. Math. Soc.(3篇),国际控制论权威刊物SIAM J. Control and Optimization(17篇)。
