David's Pecan Pie

Ingredients:
6 eggs, beaten lightly
2 cups pecan halves
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
3/4 cup light corn syrup
6 T melted butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 t. salt
4 t. vanilla
2 unbaked 9-in. pie shells
Method:
Combine eggs and corn syrup, mix well. Add sugar, mix well. Stir in salt and vanilla. Let stand for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, spread pecans evenly on bottom of pie shells. Stir melted butter into syrup/egg/sugar mixture. Pour over pecans. Be sure all pecans rise to the top. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until center is firm. This recipe makes two of David's pecan pies.
