Beef Stew

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb top sirloin cut into 1 inch cubes
6 carrots cut into 1 inch pieces
5 potatoes sliced into 1 inch wedges
1-2 small onions cut into 1 inch wedges
1 can white corn
1 large can tomatoes
4-5 beef bullion cubes
flour to coat sirloin
2 packages of Knorr's Au Jus gravy mix
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 C vegetable or Canola oil

Method:

Salt sirloin pieces and coat with flour. Brown in hot oil and transfer to a large pot. Add tomatoes, 6-8 C water, beef bullion, and vegetables. Cook over low to medium heat until vegetables are done. Add Au Jus mix and thicken with a small amount of flour mixed with water. Serve with cornbread.
